====== guitarix ====== {{metacard>}} guitarix is a modular linux guitar mono amplifier to be used in a 'jackified' environment (Jack Audio Connection Kit). Guitarix provides one jack input port and two jack output ports. It is designed to produce a nice trash/metal/rock/blues guitar sound. Your tone is processed by a main amp and a rack-section. Both can be routed separately and deliver a processed stereo-signal via Jack. You may fill the rack with effects from more than 25 built-in modules spanning from a simple noise-gate to brain-slashing modulation-fx like flanger, phaser, auto-wah, or with some LV2/LADSPA plugins. guitarix include a convolution engine with support the load of Impulse Response wav files, based on zita-convolver. All controls can connected via (jack_midi) Midi learn with a midi controller. guitarix comes with a tuner that looks and acts as a high-class analogue tuner. {{tag>effects_processors For_Guitarists_Only JACK jack_midi jack_session instrument_tuners audio_plugin_systems dsp filters lv2_plugins ladspa_plugin lv2 ladspa jack_transport}} ~~META:title=guitarix~~ ~~META:desc=rock guitar effects~~ ~~META:logo=http://guitarix.org/images/watermark.png~~ ~~META:link=http://guitarix.org/~~ ~~META:screenshot=http://guitarix.org/images/screenshots/Guitarix_0.35.0.jpg~~ ~~META:banner=~~ ~~META:author=Hermann Meyer / James Warden / Andreas Degert / Pete Shorthose / Markus Schmidt~~ ~~META:download=http://sourceforge.net/projects/guitarix/~~ ~~META:version=0.42.1~~ ~~META:releasedate=2020-12-25~~
