Petri-Foo is a sampler for Linux which is forked from the [[Specimen]] project. It brings many new features to the project such as:

  * Modulation and MIDI CC routing
  * Jack session support
  * Non Session supprt
  * Sample Auto-Preview
  * Vastly improved sample points editor
  * Sample X-Fades at loop points
  * LFO amplitude modulation
  * Many GUI updates
