The USBPre 2 is a 2×2 audio interface supporting up to 192kHz/24 bit with microphone preamps and SP/DIF. There are no software driven features. All configuration is via DIP switches.
This is a relatively expensive device with better build quality than the lower-end USB devices.
The manufacturer states that the device is class compliant and will work on Linux at up to 48kHz/24 bit. They say that later Mac versions support audio class 2.0 to access the higher sample rates, but Windows requires a driver. So does Linux also support class 2.0?
