The Akai MPK mini is a USB powered 25 key mini keyboard with 8 drum pads and 8 assignable knobs. Furthermore the Akai MPK Mini comes with:

• 4 fully programmable presets/programs
• a configurable arpeggiator with tap tempo that can be synced to an internal or external clock source
• a sustain button
• 2 pad banks
• a button to switch between MIDI notes or CC messages for the pad banks
• 2 buttons to select the octave setting

The device accepts MIDI input and the drum pads accept MIDI feedback which means that they light up in sync with playback.

The supplied editor works under Wine and allows for editing the 4 presets and some arpeggiator settings.
